A few words about me…

I am Patricia Anne Phillips, a romance writer. I have written nine novels and an anthology. I self-published my first novel with Milligan Books and sold over 10,000 copies. I went mainstream with my next four novels, which were published by Dafina/Kensington: June In Winter was featured in Romantic Times as Best Multicultural and Best First Multicultural Romance. Nice Wives Finish First is selling in Brazil under the title Apaixonada pela Vida. My sixth novel No Turning Back was released in 2008, and my seventh novel Back To Basic was released April 2009.

June In Winter depicts a romantic, unexpected second chance at love. After twenty five years of marriage, a fifty-year-old man leaves his wife for a younger women in Nice Wives Finish First. Last Bride Standing takes readers on a journey as they visualize the little town of Thika with the sights, smells and excitement through their own eyes. I also wrote an anthology under Urban Books, titled Secret Lovers. My novels Baldwin Hills Housewives and Falling In The Deep were released in May 2013.

Although my stories are fictional, the characters present a familiar and realistic place which readers can compare to their personal lives. My characters tend to be someone that we all love or hate.

I currently reside in Los Angeles, California, and working on my next novel.
